Henry Wong is an advocate for financial literacy and specializes in optimizing retirement plans. He takes existing defined contribution plans such as 401(k)’s and 403(b)’s that are lacking in attention and reinvigorates them with fresh energy and ideas. Henry’s holistic approach of blending financial wellness for employees and incorporating fiduciary best practices for employers had made what was once complex, simple.
Henry’s passion for providing financial literacy to the community is fueled by his personal experience of seeing his parents work throughout their lives without a financial plan in place. His involvement with the community has taught him that most of America’s workforce is ill-equipped to handle the economic concerns that our lives advance through. He studied economics and finance at the University of Arizona and proceeded to partner with CEOs, executives and human resources managers to grow their understanding of financial wellness and the importance of providing it in today’s modern workplace.
Henry knows what truly drives retirement readiness for plan participants and overall retirement plan health for plan sponsors and it’s not just about picking the lowest cost investment option flavor of the week. It’s how well you connect with the heart-beating people you’re trying to help and communicate your understanding back to them.
In his free time, Henry loves to explore new restaurants with his wife Rochelle. His never-ending pursuit of finding the world’s most perfect cup of coffee has led him to cafés far and wide.
